Jesus was the lamb slain from the foundation of the world.  We were created in the image of the one to come.  We know that Jesus was no monkey. 

Its the subtle compromises that we often miss.  Allowing our eyes, and or ears to hear or see things that are considered an abomination to the Lord only allows for the enemy to introduce new things into our hearts or minds.  No by themself they may not change our mindset or our person.  However, as we allow more and more of the things that God detests into our sight and or hearing it begins to desensitize us. 

Example, I used to smoke.  Now the first cigarette I smoked it made me cough, choke, and really made me sick.  The more i did it the easier it became until it was old school and no biggie.  I am so glad the Lord delviered me form the addiction of cigarettes.  He is so amazing.

The more we tolerate the more we will take in.  THe closer to the line we walk the closer and more comfortable we will become.  THere is safety at the center of the camp and danger lurks on the edge of the camp.  We can not walk with one foot in the church and the other in the World.

THe Bible says we are to come out form among them, them being the World, and be seperate.  We are to be Holy, seperated from the world and dedicated to God. 

Vampires are darkness and represent the enemy.  Zombies, same thing.  We have a need to not compromise.  THe choice is clearly ours to make.  It does truly make a diffrence.

I got into a debate/discussion on the Bible VS Evolution.  The main part of the topic was what our first image was when we were created.  I know that Gen 1:27  says "So God created man in his own image..."  Thus making me think I had proven that we DIDN't evolve from Apes. (which I firmly believe we didnt, and if I don't have proof, my gut feeling tells me there is no way)  This person then brought up that the Bible never says what Man looked like, just that we were created in the image of God. 

I thought this would be a good topic.  Pulling out scripture, debating Bible VS Evolution (if there is even a debate to be had). What are your thoughts and proof through the Bible that God made us to look the way we are today?

I view books the same as music.  I think that it depends on how the book/music makes you feel.  You can enjoy a book but that doesn't mean it changes your views or opinions about God.  Same as music.  You can listen to what you like, but it depends on how it makes you feel.  Ask yourself this....does the music/book change you as person, does it pull you away from God?

So Twilight is the new rave liken to the Harry Potter craze.  Granted this Twilight seems to be geared to an older crowd than the Potter based movies.

Do tell, what is your spin on this?
